Back In The Saddle...

So, I am finally feeling like I am getting back into the grove of this whole music thang again. HALLELUJAH! I remember being happily exhausted with my days filled with performances and my late nights with studio sessions. My Oh My how things have changed. A baby will do that to ya. My seed has come into my life and has shook things up a bit for my husband and I but we wouldn't have it any other way.

Being that I'm older, a mom now and not the 19 year old girl performing in night clubs, I had a hard time finding my place in the industry. It's still tough sometimes. I have changed in so many ways. I've evolved. I am more than grateful for the phone calls, texts and emails I get from other talented people who want to collab with me, They don't know what it means. I'm blessed.

I've been in the studio here and there as my schedule permits both for my project and the projects of others and it's awesome. I'm getting my feet wet again. Being married and having a baby doesn't mean your life ends, it just means you do things differently in order to make things happen for yourself and your family.
