Vintage Glam Goods.
Oh how I love pin up culture! I adore the music, the garments, the glam makeup! And my friends at Bésame Cosmetics are making it extremely easy to take on that vintage glam look with all of their goodies for your canvas a.k.a your face! If you follow me on Instagram or Facebook you have most likely seen Gabriela Hernandez's creations on my face or pout! I was introduced to Bésame Cosmetics last year and I haven't looked back. For years I was a Mac only girl, It's only been recently that I've really started to dabble in other lines because I didn't really like how Mac has been making my face and lips feel.
Needless to say, I'm glad Bésame found me!
Seeing Red~
I had always used Mac's Ruby Woo along with a ton of girls I know. It's a very true vintage red and I swore by it. Plus, it was really all I knew. Loved the color but hated the feel. It's very drying, that is everyone's complaint. After using Bésame's take on a vintage shade Bésame Red, it was all to obvious I had to make the switch. It feels good. The aloe in their lipsticks has a moisturizing pay off and I forgot to mention, the color doesn't bleed and feather. Awesome right?
As crazy as It may sound, I even felt a difference when I was applying the lipstick swatches to my arm. Ruby Woo skid a bit on my skin, it wasn't a smooth application while Bésame Red felt like cream and it was easy to glide on. Try it, You'll instantly know the difference.
Exotic Pink Lippy~
When I'm not wearing red, I'm usually wearing pink. Not a subtle pink, no! I love my brights or what I like to call, my "Hoochie Coochie Pink". They are loud, beautiful and make lips look so kissable, at least that's what Hubby says. Brings me to my next swap. Bésame's Exotic Pink is smooth, moisturizing and drop dead gorgeous. What I love and appreciate about this shade is that it looks great on everyone. Every skin color can rock Exotic Pink.
Peachy Cheeks~
Cream rouge. Nuff said. Seriously, I would have purchased this for the tin it comes in. This piece especially, reminds me of some of the makeup my Abuela had on her vanity in old pictures. It's exquisite. I've used a cream blush maybe once in life so I was hesitant at first, but this Apricot cream rouge has a creamy texture that blends so easily even a beginner can do it. and the finish is flawless. I love versatile products! This cream rouge happens to be dual use and looks amazing on lips.
Bésame takes the guess work out of trying to achieve true vintage glam and these products are just the tip of the iceberg. Follow them on Facebook and on Instagam & Twitter @BesameCosmetics
