Go to Sleep, Sheep!

The boys and I love books. We’re book hoarders. We celebrate each and every book coming into this house. Go to Sleep, Sheep! Was no exception. We curled up in bed and started reading.

But something is very familiar... I know this story. 

 “I’m thirsty!” squeaks a little voice.

“Please leave on a light!”

“I’m still not tired!” one cries out.

“Let’s have a tickle fight!”

Mama Sheep is me. She’s all of us. She is every mother who’s ever gone to nighttime battle with their tiny bedtime warrior. And we love it! My oldest chuckled because I’m sure he could relate to the sheep. My youngest loves making ‘baaahh’ sounds while I read. It’s the cutest!

Bedtime isn’t so bad when you have your little sheeps surrounding you, and this adorable barn shaped book in your hands. You may not get them to fall asleep but I’ll take the extra cuddles and quiet time. My youngest especially loves running his hands over the words on the cover, they’re textured with shining glitter. So fun!
